Krasnobrod Commune

The city of Krasnobrod is a jewel and the capital of the commune. It is a picturesque spa town saturated with a beautiful and diverse landscape. Krasnobrod is located in the picturesque Wieprz valley and is often called Roztocze Czestochowa, because it is famous for the Marian Sanctuary, numerous chapels and wonderful springs. We will discover deep ravines here, climb hills covered with forests, observe rare bird species hidden in the river and stream valleys. On hot days we will rest on the golden sand of the beach by the lagoon or cool down with the crystal clear water of many sub-brook springs located in the Krasnobrod Landscape Park.

The magic and charm of this land are also numerous legends. And one of them speaks of a collapsed church, which was supposed to be in the forest "Belfont" (from French _belle - beautiful, fontaine - source). The beautiful building was supposed to collapse there underground, and a spring with medicinal water is to be erected in its place. What's more, it is known from folk sources that this forest was also to be the place where Queen Marysienka and Jan III Sobieski met.

The largest bathing beach in Roztocze was created in Krasnobród. Within it, a guarded zone was separated, with a sandy beach next to it and a beautiful wooden pier was built. Numerous new paths have been marked out, ideal for running or cycling.

Accommodation base has developed very strongly in the Krasnobrod commune. You can find rooms for almost every budget. In addition, many of them offer attractions such as a barbecue or a smaller pond directly by the object.
