The Ludwin commune is a tourist entrance gate to the picturesque Łęczyńsko-Włodawskie Lake District. Every year, crowds of tourists and holiday makers come here, in addition to holiday resorts and camping sites, guest agritourism farms with home cooking and a wealth of folk culture.

The charm of the local lands is determined by large numbers of meadows, forests, peat bogs, and above all lakes. The most beautiful water reservoirs in terms of tourism include the lakes Piaseczno, Lukcze, Rogozno and Zaglebocze. These are borderland lakes, they are distinguished by a sandy bottom and easy access to water and are visited mainly by swimming and water sports enthusiasts. Other lakes such as Bikcze, Krzczen, Brzeziczno or Dratow constitute a local paradise for anglers, where the caught specimens break records every year.

Tourism in the commune is located above all in recreational areas around the lakes, which, with their beauty and the highest purity class, attract inhabitants of all of Poland, and recently also of the world.

There are many historic buildings in the commune. There is a historic church and an Orthodox cemetery in Dratow. In Kaniwola there is a manor and park complex with a beautiful stand. In Ludwin, on the other hand, the monuments include the building of the Commune Office, the Manor House and the Granary.

On average, around 20,000 people relax in the commune during the summer season. There are holiday resorts, campsites and agritourism farms. A large proportion of tourists relax individually in their own holiday homes located on the lakes.

In the commune of Ludwin you can come across a large number of protected plants, such as low birch, Lapland willow, sundew, European full bloom and many others. The animal world is also extremely rich. Mud and water birds such as Greylag goose, crane, wader, bloody beaks, Eurasian curlew, and birds of prey dominate here. Among them, the most popular are: white-tailed eagle, mackerel and harrier. Among mammals, the dominant species are deer, wild boars, deer, otters and elks.
